Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad)
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO LOGIN, YOU WILL NEED TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT
Interlibrary Loan will obtain books and articles that are not available
in Cook Library (check first to avoid delays!). To request items, use
ILLiad, the online interlibrary loan system.
This service is only
available to New College of Florida faculty, staff, and students. For
more detailed information regarding eligibility, please refer to the New College of Florida ILL Policy.
To request that the library purchase books, use
this form.
Those not affiliated with New College of Florida may wish to contact their local public library for interlibrary loan services.
Please note that there have been some changes to the Cook Library
Interlibrary Loan system because NCF is no longer considered part of
the local regional exchange of USF Libraries in terms of interlibrary
loan. The changes are as follows:
- Interlibrary loan materials (ILL) from USF libraries can be checked
out for 3 weeks only - no renewals. Multiple requests for the same book
to bypass this limitation will not be allowed.
- NCF faculty cannot borrow USF Libraries videos via interlibrary loan.
As in the past, NCF faculty and students can still check out materials
in person at the USF Libraries, and renewals are possible on-line (this
is true at any other Florida State University Library also)
The
Circulation Staff of Cook Library will do everything possible to help
you during this time of transition to the new ILL procedures.
